You’re interested in realising your artistic visions and making economic ends meet while still maintaining an acceptable work/life balance?
You’re ready to become a successful music entrepreneur with a transnational perspective and an innovative spirit?
You want to meet the challenge of creating your own international portfolio career?
If so, “Tuning In! Routes to a Career in the Music Sector”, offered by the mdw – University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna and mica – music austria, is your perfect training programme.
Tuning In! will provide 10 young European musicians from all musical genres with resources that are essential to launching their international careers: strategic networking and self-reflection, business and management skills, and methods of self-marketing and self-presentation.
Over the course of three in-person teaching modules starting in November 2019, you’ll acquire basic entrepreneurial skills, develop your personal career road map, and begin implementing it by way of individual steps.
These workshops will be accompanied by an e-learning platform and complemented by digital hangouts for sharing knowledge and experience with your peers.
Additionally, you’ll choose a mentor – an internationally experienced musician or other protagonist in the music sector – with whom to discuss your vision and projects as well as reflect on your career plans, further develop your strategies, and strengthen your network.
Together with your colleagues from all over Europe, you’ll set-up a sustainable transnational network for future collaboration and mutual support while sharing inspirational knowledge across artistic, economic, and social spheres.
Tuning In! is co-funded by the European Union. Participation is free of charge and includes free travel and lodging.
Then send in your application by 8 September 2019!
